Hello!

New member and first time poster =). Just wonder what you think about my rx-7. The model is a few mothns old, but I did a little tweaking a few days ago. Played around with the reflection and the textures. Yea yea... But I would be glad if someone could give a little critic.

I have to agree with the other posters here. We need more views. It looks like you've got a great model there. (nurbs??) Your rendering is excellent. Lets see some more angles, and maybe one with a little less lens distortion.

Post some more vews. It looks nice and clean. But there are some issiues to be fixed. Post some wires and some more views. From first look I can tell that the front of the car is too tall or this is an camera issue. :p

definitely needs a different camera angle or perspective. This one is really awkward to ctrique the model overall.

looks nice though:thumbsup:

Um the Rx7 didnt have the new mazda symbol... that symbol was introduced in 98... after rx7 was stopped being built... you need to have the older symbol on it

Hello again!

Sorry for the delay of the renders, but have bin pretty busy latly.
I would like to thank everyone for the critic. Hear’s the diferent
angles everyone asked for. =) I’m planing on making a wallpaper
to, but it will take a few days before it’s finished. As usual feal
free to critic.

muki… no it’s stndard polly modeling.

Sqwall… no that must be the distortion of the camera that
made it look to tall.

Hardnox… Still intrested of a high ress render? If so, pleas
tell me wich angle you would like.

Conanart… I have bin using Max 5 and renderd by brazil.

asylum24… yea I know, but I like the new one better and
there’s actually some people who canges the symbols on
their cars.

the back tail light needs work.... it kinda looks like u just put a red color to it and htats it... the RX-7 only has little oval brake lights where it dips down in to the rest of the trunk area... the par tthat goes across the back of it between where the lights is black unless painted hte same color of the car... so fix that and add an actual tailight material to it or something and it'll be good...

Also there looks like there is a small overlap on the right hand side of hte tailight and where it connects to the trunk but it might be the lighting iono

Your rims needs lugs also, and hte rotors need a different texture.. right now in the 45 degree shots, you can see a reflection on them.. and thats definitly not right

And hte wing looks to tall but I may be wrong onthat...

But I will say this.... its a damn good job. better than I could do... just those things would make this an excellent model... and the thing about the badge.... I know people do that to their car... only reason I said something about is cuz I have a mazda protege and I switched out the toilet seat symbol out for the new Flyin M symbol.... i was just simply stating

I'm still trying to make so good renders but they're far away from that! I like it.
I'm using brazil too, so could u give me some tips on how setting up scene. I mean the white enviroment and reflections.

Above the front windsheild there seems to be a raised area that would catch the wind badly. That area would be really smooth with a rubber peice connecting the windsheild and the roof.

Great model and great renders.

Hi there...
I think the rear lights looks a bit weird, but the model is great and the renders are excelent!

I'm working on a RX-7 too, with C-West styling... i'll post it here when finished!

From you side view your supra seems to be quite high up. Most supras you see are lowered to the ground, it just makes it look much better.

It's a Mazda RX-7, not a Supra.... ;)

hey , nice looking render ......but the front proportions seem to be off , the front does seem a bit tall and the back lights really need work
