Characters: Newt? and Aliens

I really had to take a second look at this becuase I really thought that was 3-D. Great illusion, tricking the eye is what art is all about.:eek:

The only thing that really bothers me for some strange reason...is her shoes... it just doesn't seem to fit somehow...I'm not sure..also her face seems a bit plain. I kinda want her to have more anger or something shown on her face...

Anyways,..what program did you use to make this..and what was your technique in coloring? Also, how was the layout decided for this piece?

yeah i like, i think the aliens are really well done, i as well questioned if it was 3d for a split second.

one thing that really bothers me, is her face. it's looking straight at the camera with little if not no emotion. if i were shooting two aliens i think i'd be shitting my pants, or hopefully looking at them for better aim.

but that's just me..

:) it also seems you took less time on her than the aliens. maybe spice her up eh?

Thanks for the crits!! She is actually looking upwards but it gets lost in the resolution...."she" definately needs more work though, better face and dirtier/bloodier in general etc...

Nice job!
I followed your WIP from start up the result is excellent, Tho I do think that you should let her show her teeth, like in the first pic...
closing her mouth makes her look too...relaxed/cool...

Very nice picture :D
She realy looks much better now with her colth dirty and more shadows and showing teeth.
But i think now her shadow on the ground looks a bit strange, not sure what it is, and something is wrong with the perspective of her left arm and sholder.
Well thats just my opinion i might be wrong :)

Vash: The second close-up in this thread was before I re-uploaded the main pic with the changes made...dirtier/teeth shown etc...sorry its kinda confusing now I know :thumbsup:

Orc: yeah looking at it now I agree, the forearm should overlap more? it appears her arm is facing back yet its meant to be facing forwards/upwards??....good point!!
