Hey guys,

for a long time now, I'm thinking about a collaboration with a concept artist.

I'm an Animation&Game student, looking to develop my modeling/texturing and rendering skills. this terms hollidays are getting closer and again I'm looking for a larger project for my portfolio, a 3D still image.

My Problem is, that my concepts really suck, and I see so many creative and fresh 2d concepts on the net - I would love to realise one of them for once!

So If there is any ambitious beginner out there, who would like to see his concept art realised in a rendering... Please contact me!

You can see some of my sparetime work on my CGtalk-Porfolio or here: http://s935.photobucket.com/albums/ad197/avagoyamug/Digital%20Art/?albumview=slideshow

Thanks and best regards
Thilo

Hello,

We are a 3D studio which is going to start its one and only short film (we are currently producing a TV series and two videogames) and I think you could enjoy with our project.

It is a "collaborative" project but with some of our employees involved as well. Another international studio has already signed for coproduction and, maybe a third one will join us soon. Our current status:

- Script almost complete.
- Mid of July: first concept art ready for modeling.
- Beginning of september: ready for animation.
- Short film produced before end of february 2012.

We will only need people in texturing and rigging but modeling is ok as well.

Our short film is an horror film (3D stereoscopic) for adults and will become a film if funding is received (we are currently working on the business plan). Film will not be a collaborative project but a paid production and everyone will work from home as we work using "virtual teams" thanks to our own developed online software.

Are you or anyone else interested in?

Well, that sounds very interessting!

I would love to contribute to your project - texturing would be ok, modeling/sculpting AND texturing would be awesome!

Tell me more!

Ok. Let me get our first concept art because we want a create something different from Pixar/Tim Burton and other big studios. I will contact you in two/three weeks.

We are sure script good enough and concept art should be in the same way :buttrock:

I will keep you in mind.
