I'm not sure why my posts keep getting taken down, but here's another try, maybe i'll figure out the kosher naming thing yet. Anyhow, i'd really appreciate comments on what to fix and such about this. It was all done in maya, and rendered using maya's software render.

Hi Supermanphan
perhabs a little strange arrangement but nice work. Somehow, what I would change is perhabs the window and the light inside the microwave (more yellowish). In my opinion the window is too transparent or too thin, so more reflection needed or another refraction value?
The milk seems to cut through the glass.
And as last point, I haven't seen a slice of bread with a so accurate filling. ;-)
(Hope that I used the right english words ;-))

It kinda looks like that Pop Tart is floating. Maybe it's just me. But anyway, nice job, and good lighting!

That's the texture for the stain on the milk, if that's what you mean by it cutting through the glass, i'm sure i set up something wrong, i've only been texturing in maya for a month, and so i just try my best to figure out what i need and how to get there

someone else said something to me about the pop tart floating, it might just be the angle of the camera and the light, but i was thinking about moving the poptart on the opposite side of the plate, and adding some character to the icing before i consider it finished for myself.... any good places to get some tips on how to use mental ray?

looks nice, i like the coffee stain on the countertop. but the poptart needs more work, i think the bits ontop ( i think they're 100's and 1000's ) need more definition, maybe separate models in themselves. and the shape of the poptart is too 'regular' they're pretty much flat on the edges, and a bit thinner too, but its good, also i like the sticky note on the wall. wats that in the microwave, has a hamster just blown up inside it ??

I like your uses of lights, darks and reflection...that raytracing, light linking, etc thing I'm still trying to get used to. Anyway Good job.
