I can find the script that creates the script edior.

any ideas??

I think the script window is automatically created by maya when it starts. (By the application, not by a script)

That's the impression I get from initCommandWindow.mel.

Looks like it´s defined by the $gCommandWindow variable. Trying doing a search for that in the Maya startup scripts.
