View Full Version : Character: Miners Revolt Character Concept
nattnewman 10-28-2003, 03:04 PM Hey all,
Original character concept by a colleague - character ideals and look reformatted by myself.
Hope to have some character design sheets done sometime soon: and soon after I shall start modelling.
C and C on the concept more than welcome.
Cheers,
Nathan.

*peers intently* ..uh....it's a person...kinda
(if you're wondering why no one else has posted a response, it's because your image is a fuzzy shadow, with no detail, so it's kinda hard to tell what it is, let alone if it's cool looking.)
kinda hard to crit a blurry black silouette :-\

I second that.

The whole point of concept art is to give you something to work with when drawing/painting/modelling/etc. It usually will give you a good idea of the overall look, characteristic details, etc. So unless you're going to be modelling a big black humanoid-shaped blob, this isn't much of a "concept" per se.

Sorry about this.
I didnt realise how bad it looked - my monitor isn't configured properly, and I didn't notice how drastically dark this was until I checked on some other computers.
Assigning colour profile and collaborating monitor now...........sit tight, I'll have the proper one soon.
Thanks for bearing with me!
LoTekK: this is a concept image in the sense that it sets the mood of the project. Once my colour profile issues are resolved I'll post another scene, and a full colour stylised version of the character.
Nathan

Hope these are a little better for you! Otherwise take em into PS and adjust the brightness and contrast a little ;)
Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the interest people.
Please let me know if these images appear to be better - really need to know if the monitor is set up properly.
Thanks in advance,
Nathan.
