View Full Version : Imagine quality loss -PS to Falsh MX?

Hi

I am very new to Flash MX, so i have been playing around with it, and when i import a PS picture, like a logo, i find that i get imagine quality loss. I have turned off smoothing but the imagine just seems to appear blurry!
I have saved the file as a Png as i need transparancy, and i wondered how you guys go about getting good results??

You also need to set the format to lossless png in the same settings window as the smoothing option. I can't remember exactly where it is... I use flash on an intermittent basis.

Also check your export options aren't the culprit.

in your publish settings in flash mx, make sure that jpeg quality is set to 100 instead of the default 80

..and make sure you don't scale your bitmap this can get some messed effects too!
