View Full Version : Corel Painter doodling
jeroentje 06-06-2002, 12:00 PM Just installed Corel Painter Classic (is there another version? Maybe with layers?) that came with my Wacom.
Never used the software so I started using all the brushes. Feels very natural! It's just a bit of doodling around but I thought what the hell, why not post it.

Yeah...Wacom rules.
I like painter classic. Ok, it has no layers but on paper u havenīt layers too, right? Right!
The tools of Painter Classic are damn nice.
The Clownimage was painted with that App.
Love that scetches:thumbsup:

Think this google groups search result explains it!

I quite like Painter Classic (One of the reasons I chose the wacom tablet instead of the cheap ass clones), I just don't have the confidence to dispense with layers, so I use Paint Shop Pro!

Oh, thanks Brian.
Was just wondering why it was called Classic, since I had never heard of Painter.
I'm doing a Lara Croft now with the big fat oil-tool. It's a radical style change, but I like experimenting with different techniques.
For that piece I really don't miss the layers. Just went to Photoshop once for kicking in a background. (Forgot that about my IRL painting days: work from back to front ;) )
