hi,

Besides the engine block, I think I'm almost done with the modeling, any suggestions before I start texturing? (I just grabbed the shaders from previous models, using m-ray to render)

they are 1280X1024 renders

Heres the guy who will test the suspension(not quite done modeling either)

It seems to me that the handlebars on the quad are a bit too small. I looked at the rider and he's also got slightly exaggerated hands. So that's just a suggestion.

I also like the cartoonishness of the rider, very stylish

I threw my guy on there, and I can see too, the handle bars are a tad small. thanks for the input.

heehee, the second picture made me laugh, it looks like he's staring at his hands and the handlebars of the quad and thinking "not gonna happen"

Hi, this all looks very good, but personally I'm not a big fan of the chrome, especially the wheels. It's a personal preference, but they are pretty uncommon on those vehicles, especially because of the added weight. Otherwise, looking great, not too framiliar with quads, more streetbikes, but everything looks right to me..

looks very good!
I`d say that this have potential for a quite funny animation. i can imagine him riding some gaps and ramps. very nice one - keep it up!

I like the last one too :) There is some potential in this character :)

I'd make the quad and the rider dirty, as if just after some mud-trashing :)

thanks for the input guys.

kinda hung up on rigging the suspension right now.

when I get done I'll take a look at the wheels and the chrome.

I also made the handlebars bigger.

I hope to udate this week, thanks again.

Try long leather pants like the motorcross guys. Add some color for sponsors or something. Write his name across his butt too.
