I'm still a newbie. I've been modeling for 2 months. This work was done as a class assignment in a beginning 3d modeling class. It's my 3rd assignment.

Some detail was lost when I cropped the render for size so here's the full size image:

Also, thanks to CGTalk.com for showing all these beautiful images which give me something to live up to.

Didn't know if you wanted crits. Nice image. Good Composition and the lighting is definitely early morning blue. I also like the way you have avoided making the hose perfectly circular.

great image
good lighting

some crits (minor ones though)
- the leaves seem to be too thick, maybe make them a little tranlucent and add a crumple bumpmap to them?
- the hook for the garden hose needs a slight bevel. It looks too sharp.
- the grass needs a little toned down green. and a little variation in colour (by the leaves I suppose it's fall, the grass should reflect that time of year no?)
