Hello all!
I went to the Cine Gear Expo 2011 in Los Angeles and wrote a review on it - a lot of things are moving quickly in the live-action industry, and I believe it's in the best interest of all VFXers to stay up-to-date what the developments for film production are.

The Cine Gear Expo 2011 (June 2-5) in the Paramount Studio Lot in Los Angeles was a large film industry trade event with approximately 100 vendors showcasing their latest developments next to movie screenings, seminar series and panel discussions; old veterans like ARRI and Ultimate Arm showed their technological advances right next to newcomers like the CMOCOS robot arm or the Tessive Time Filter. This article subjectively reflects on the experience and gives a tour of highlights in the Cine Gear Expo.
