View Full Version : Smooth Mesh Preview Problem

Hello,

I am having a problem where 1 piece of geometry does not change to a smooth mesh preview when I hit the hotkey 3, the message, "subdivDisplaySmoothness -smoothness 3;" still comes up upon changing it. Hitting hotkey 2 doesn't work either; although, when it is changed to "subdivDisplaySmoothness -smoothness 2;" the wire frame shows up when you de-select the geometry, as does with any other piece. Any suggestions to what has happened here?

Funny, I was in class and asked the teacher when I checked your reply. Good timing, thanks a lot! Somehow I must have disabled that.. mesh attributes were disabled completely and also the mesh value was at 0, ha, love it when Maya gives you troubles!
