Hey all...
Beta of YafaRay for Autodesk Softimage is ready for published.
This is the biggest project I've worked, since I decided to learn C + +, a little over a year. The beta version has been tested in Softimage Mod Tool 7.5, Autodesk Softimage 2010 and 2011. You can find more information on the website YafaRay

I'm going to be cautiously optimistic. I can't remember any time I've tried a third party renderer and had anything but headaches.

Great to have some more options! Gotta look around.
There are third party renderers that are more like aspirin. ; )

The pictures you have posted in the Yafaray forums (http://www.yafaray.org/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3460) look really interesting. Thank you for working on this :)

Are you planning on sharing the source code?

This is great that Yafaray is offered for free, but what serious 3D artist is using 32bit?
