Hi

I am going to use this thread to build up a progression of a character as pencil sketches
and when resolved I will take it to Maya to complete for rapid prototyping

At the moment I'm working on Uk Politicians, the sketchbook Idea is great as it allows me to visualise the progression whilst I'm at work

I am adding face studies from photographs shot from roughly the same angle (front 2/3rds and below)

These shots help build up info on the volumes of cheek bones, and structure of the skull

Here is another more detailed head study, trying to capture mouth stucture and muscle topology under skin

currently working on a physical wire armature of whole model; will post later
