View Full Version : Square Dance!
Michael5188 05-17-2011, 02:12 PM A short I worked on between jobs. I plan on doing more with other square type characters, the simplicity of it all allows me to wrap up different little ideas quickly.
Hope you enjoy!

Very, very nice work. I love your visual and animated style!
May I ask about your setup for the animated facial textures, I'm always interested in the different ways people do those. :D

Thanks everyone!
For the faces I just made all of the expressions I knew I needed, saved them each as a separate image (face_01, face_02, etc.) and then did an image sequence texture on the character. Then it's just a matter of setting a key in the texture attributes on which number image I want to be using.
It's not the most flexible set up but it worked for me.
