With less than 100 days until the SIGGRAPH Conference in Vancouver,
it’s time to start preparing! Besides the usual preparations of what
to pack, where to stay and finding the parties, there is a passport to
think about. And for those planning to interview at the conference,
there are even more questions.
Join us on Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 7pm to 9pm as DC_SIGGRAPH
conducts mock interviews to help those attending the conference.
Students, Interns, Rookies and Professionals s are invited to attend a
mock interview session to learn the differences between generalist and
specialist interviews and to help them prepare for interviewing at the
SIGGRAPH conference. If you are preparing to interview at the
conference, wanting to learn the differences in the east coast and
west coast interview processes, or trying to polish your interviewing
skills, then this meeting is for you!
Please submit a link to your demo reel by May 12 to
dc_siggraph@mail.com (http://forums.cgsociety.org/dc_siggraph@mail.com).
Several reels will be chosen and highlighted in
this session. RSVP to dc_siggraph@mail.com (http://forums.cgsociety.org/dc_siggraph@mail.com)
