>>What's Render Blade ?
External software for real time play back LightWave3D object file(*.lwo) and scene file (*.lws). Alpha version is available on 2003/8/15.
Maybe beta version, you can convert scene file to view from Web. I hope Render Blade becomes defect standard of Web 3D animation.

I tried this one yesterday.

It's drag and drop only.
It seems to have an issue with multi-layer drawings

hmm... that is pretty cool.

I hadn't tried it with any animations.

I like how it has an option to wrap up all scene objects into one file... (lws, lwo, jpg's). I've wanted LW to have an option to do this for a long time. I think it would make people share scenes a lot more.

You wouldn't want it as the default format obviously.... but have it run as a tool called "wrap n' pack" or something... would make sending across the web a bit easier anyway.

I saw this over on Flay this morning but did not pay attention to it. Dl'ing now though. So is this like Maya's Fcheck? I love Fcheck and wished LW had something simular. I have fairly good success using zplayer in an Fcheck type manner but its just not the same.

It seems to me that there is a way to do this. I don't have the time to try to figure out how right now, but I think there is some sort of plugin (that comes with LightWave) or something that does it.

I think I saw it in the old LWG forums.

Ok... now I have some time... :)

In layout under the scene tab click on generics>>Content maneger.
Choose export scene from the menu and hit OK.
You'll then have more options.

Hope that is what you want
