I just think the sole of his shoes drawn too much atention...
maybe if it was a little darker...
i think it would be a little better...
keep it up...

just like last time, i absolutely love this one.
it's cute but it's got attitude. the expression on his face is just great. what can i say, i really enjoy your work.
one thing i will say is that the tire tracks on the bunny and carpet don't seem to equal the width of the tires (wheels) on the board.
just a lil nit pick, as i'm sure you already know, i love your stuff = )
Take care and i can't wait to see the next one!

definitely a well painted piece, you have really given the character some nice attitude and personality, well done :-)

I love the soles of the shoes! The paw print is clever.

Nice Work!! I like the changes of value in the face, and the Color of the eyes really pull me. :buttrock:

how did you make the fur on the wolf
10-25-2003, 06:11 AM
you're too good

I find that the bunny blends in to well with the bg (pillow?) and I agree that the soles of the shoes draw to much attention.
I like the texture you have on the pants, and the wallpaper pattern.

Wow, Nice drawing you did.
By my own opinion, it will better to show the key thigs of this image if you make some area where not very important less some details. :)
Well done, I love it. Keep post up more.

Heh, great image. He's got that "yeah, what are you looking at" attidude, which is great. I especially like how you did the fur, and the little picture within a picture is a nice touch too. Good work  (im gonna hope i can do stuff this good when i get my tablet)

@ All: Thanks for all this positive feedback and the crits and for those taking the time to take a look ot my picture :D
Now to the critics given:
@Palombasso: Yes you might be right i did realy put too much attention into that shoez :)
@Adainiel: True they don't fit well in size, i knew that but when now looking on it i think i should have resized them.
@Salaadin: joint uhm no no clue what yo mean, he just gets his daily dose of vitamine A :D
@YerEvilTwin: The fur was made with many many brushstrokes with a modified oil pencil. 1st i made raw shading and big strands with rather dark color and then using a fine oil pencil and bright color scribbeling all over the fur. I hope this helps im not very good in explaining how i draw :surprised
@dbach & facial: It's a pillow to sit on in the form of a sheep.
And it's true it might have been better to do the shoez less sharp.

WOW! Nice attention to detail!
10-25-2003, 05:10 PM
man, this piece is awesome! i love your attention to details
the scuff marks on the board are nice, and so are the dirt spots and pieces of grass in his shoes. nice stuff man! keep it up!
I think this image is pretty good but.... I really think you should lose the picture it is redundant. Also if you lost the picture it would give the eyes a place to rest which in my opinion would be nice

@adam: You think? well i was thinking about that also but i left the picture there. I thought adding some reflection on the image would help to not draw too much attention to it.

very nice drawing.
I love it.

Quite the Fauvist creation!!!!
I guess the only thing I would comment on is the lack of a distinct light source, but I imagine that you made it flat intentionally.
Great work :) :) :)
