Not bad for a first model.
Depending on what software package you are using, I would definitely suggest you either mesh smooth or subsurf the mesh on the plane. Gets rid of those nasty looking hard edges.
Give us an update with the smooth version!

i think it is mesh smoothed. (im pretty sure i applyed it. i mite have forgot too click render smooth. lol) im using max 4.2 and finalrender. but thanx for the reply.
