Hi,

Our second episode of the 850 METERS ‘making of’ series has just been uploaded.
The title and subject (production stage) of this episode is : STORYBOARD & ANIMATIC
You can watch it here : EPISODE #2 (http://vimeo.com/thuristar/850-meters-the-making-of-2-storyboard-and-animatic-vost-fr)

http://static.thuristar.com/MakingOf/EPISODE2.jpg

It took longer than a month but it’s also much longer than initially planned (8 minutes) ;)
We shed a light on the preproduction of our film and how we (small team, small budget) are handling this ambitious after hours project.

And you can follow our ‘quest for a short film’ on Facebook, where we post some work in progress from time to time : 850 on FB page (http://www.facebook.com/850meters)

The next episode is : design, modeling and texturing.
After that Messiah:Studio time in the "Rigging and animation" episode.
After that ...

Cheers,

Joeri & the 850 team.

Yep, Toonboom's Storyboard PRO (2)
Great software for storyboarding, and definitely beats scanning copying drawings like a did a couple of years ago ;)

Much thanks

Joeri
