View Full Version : Wired rotations on arms. Please help!

Hey there

JUst wonder if anyone can help with a problem i'm having. When ever I rotate the Chest back or forward the arms seem to flip back in funny rotations. They kinda Snap. Here is and avi that shows what is happeneing.

I have turned off inherit X and Y rotation on the arms. And have left inherit Z on because i don't want the arms to inherit the X and Y rotations from the body. For some reason it's doing this silly thing. The arms are linked to the shoulder and the shoulders are linked to the chest bone.

Have any one ever come across this before and know how to fix it?

try deleting any IKs if you have any and see if it still does it. If not the advice I remember geting when rigging is to delete everything and start over and it might work right the third time if your lucky.
