I got a chance to see the Expose book today and I would just like to congradulate everyone in the book I thought the work was for the most part fantastic. I would also like to say that the I thought that all bias aside, (Because all of the work deserved to be there.) that the work done in Lightwave was very good. I thought that this community was really represented well by the work there. It was again for the most part really tramendous. I am sure a lot of credit also goes to Proton for being a strong influence in contributing on the jury and advising on the book.
Good Job.

Expose is a great inspiration resource but the only thing that kinda turned me off is that there were alot of pieces in there done by the judges:surprised
Wich are good don't get me wrong but it is a conflict of interest. I hope that for the next one they realize that is a bit unethical to be a judge and submit your own work to be judge by yourself, a judge and other judges... what are the other judges going to say anyway? "no way dude that sucks!"
:hmm:

I made a polite note of this once and received a fairly unfriendly response. It's the golden rule, those who have the gold make the rules.

A seperate section in the book just set aside for the judges work to be showcased would be the way to get around the appearance of conflict of interest.

You weren't the only one that wrote a polite note, I thought I was alone on that one.
