View Full Version : Blending maps using a dirt map - eek!

Okay,

Have spent the majority of my time in 3D packages my Photoshop skills have fell substantially by the wayside. Thus i am unable to remember how to blend 2 maps together using a third dirtmap as a mask. I hope you understand my explanation.

Can anybody help me out?

I spent 10 secs making this pic but I hope it explains it all:

Add a layer mask to the layer on top. Put the dirt in there, and that should be it.

Yeah, I do actually.

I hadn't noticed that the button changes it's name. Thanks for pointing that one out.
