I'm trying to achieve a lighting setup like the one in this video.

I want a all around white look with some soft shadows. Thanks?

Make a white sphere and a plane centered in it, so that the sphere is a dome. Then use passes or layers to render out the shadow pass separately, and simply extract everything from your passes. This isn't really a studio setup - a studio setup has lights and flectors and panels too.
