The Pirate
A one minute long CGI Cartoon Network Promotional film. Created by Meindbender Animation Studio.
It is with great pleasure Meindbender gives you a glimpse of our latest work. This time about a greedy pirate, so mean, so fearful and so EVIL that he has two eye patches, two wooden legs and yes, two hooks instead of one! Also starring, his slightly smarter parrot. Enjoy

Awesome work! Loved every bit of it. Those lips are the most real mouth I've ever seen (unless they are actually real?)

Congrats for yet another wonderful piece!

How in the hell did you do his teeth? They look so real. Did you just composite the rest of him over some real teeth?! Amazing work indeed!

Congrats for yet another wonderful piece!

Many Thanks.

We had some early ideas about comping in a real mouth. But we chose a 3d solution for it. This way we got a bit more control. For the animation we filmed a real mouth that the animators could use as reference material.

Awesome! It worked great! I wonder though, how long would it take this to get on the front page? Should be there by now!
