Hi friends,
Got a bit of a stumper here (well, for me anyways since I’m relatively new to XSI). My coder friend and I are working on a game and he has very specific criteria for the format he wants his characters in. What I’m trying to do is import a DirectX .X file into XSI (which works fine except it turns the skeleton into envelopes), where I get the snafu is that it’s several animations for the character strung together in one long animation. What he wants is to break up the single animation into separate ones then export it into an .FBX file so it’ll recognize separate animated movements rather than just one long one of 2500 frames (this is a soldier model with a ton of walk/sneak/crouch/fire/etc. animations).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thoughts?
Regards,
Ben
