View Full Version : environment: outdoor scenery
dpvtank 10-23-2003, 12:49 AM I don't know what it is. But it's something. Got any ideas on what I should add to it? exclude out? It's like I got no purpose with this image.
I orignally wanted to work on Tom Bombadil with that. that being the background. But then I figured it won't work out.

Yeah beats me too??
Uh if you were trying to do something painterly then you need to build up more depth and layers of strokes and find some reference of a tree outdoors. Otherwise it might look nice on your mom's fridge ;-)

Concept.. just try setting up a still life of interesting objects and reproducing it using light and shadow.. for that matter for now forget about color alltogether just draw the shapes using shades of gray then add shadow with dark greys then add highlights with white.

This isn't what I meant when I said to work with shades of gray.
