What is your favorite Houdini Asset built by users?

I've seen a shell fish generator, procedural roads, ice berg generator, etc.

This building one is an oldie, but cool one.

Is there a list of user built assets compiled anywhere?

The first place to look for Houdini Assets is the Houdini Exchange. It is off of the Side Effects web site here:

http://www.sidefx.com/exchange

There are more and more web sites with users putting assets up available for download. Use google searches to seek them out. Some of these pages are advertised on the Houdini Web site.

Here are a couple:

There are the impressive ASAD (all singing and dancing) assets out there but it's the ones you use every day like the Tangent SOP for building flow vectors and diverging vectors that are the real winners IMHO.

Remember you can nest assets inside other assets indefinitely so it's the smaller building blocks that are key to me.

I'm a big fan of captainhammy but maybe I'm just biased. ;)

Yes, those are good. Thanks.
rjw - is there one from that list that you like or used by a lot of artists?

I was thinking more specifically of cool objects or innovative interface.
Here is a lime digital asset I liked:

Makes me think there should be one for every fruit.

3dbuzz has some tutorials on making an elevator asset, and I think odforce.net had a bridge asset challenge.

A new nice asset to build a large variety of buildings.
