So this year, Iíve decided to enter into Dominance War, but since I currently have nothing in my WIP feed, Iíve decided to post my progress on this particular project, so that you can see my work flow.
I have my concept all photoshopped up (not the final concept yet) and I do realise the similarities to ĎDanboí so please donít bitch about that. If I can get around to it, I will time lapse my work and post it here as well for you

In an attempt to try and get it looking more epic, less 'Danbo' and overall more like a god, I have dropped the angle and increased the perspective

i think you could go further and put some deformation in him such as rips or holes in his body
only a suggestion as i know it's not finished yet :P

thankks!! I'd love to, it might be a case of alphaing it out in texturing, but I'm honestly not sure yet...
although I think it may be almost at final stage of concept...

I, for one, welcome our new giant cardboard box overlord! :)
Pretty fun idea, he's definitely going to be interesting to watch as he takes shape.

I just felt that it would be more interesting to defy those that take these things too seriously, games are not about making things look like a photo... that's what SFX and Film is for, games are here to bring pleasure and make people smile, I plan on fully rigging and Animating it as well, perhaps even applying colliders and making a ragdoll from it.

I haven't posted in a while, but this is a quick update to show my WIP. I am currently in the process of rigging, but will go back and fix up the textures... yes I know about their lack of boxness... I was going to post a quick vid of the rig, but realised i still have to make dynamic joints for the flaps and add some FK/IK switches for the arms and legs to increase their collapsibility. it's getting there, but still has quite a few issues... :)
