Everyone is afraid of something. And some are afraid of many things. Spiders, birds, snakes, garden gnomes...
But it does not have to be a thing or an animal. For example, everyone has that little secret that no one else knows about. Even gods do. And they don't want anyone else to find out about it becaouse it would make them vulnerable.
And there are also fears of which you're not even aware of. This god knows all of them. And he will use them if you challenge him. Your muscles, shields and weapons can not protect you from the truth. He sees right trough you. So sharp it hurts. And you will know what he knows.
His form changes/adopts to match your fears. Everyone sees him differently.
