Good start. For defence I'd be looking at some sort of all-encompassing suit of armour which could close right around him, like an armadillo. A segmented carapace perhaps. Good luck!

Hey Jason,

Cool god for sure. Like a lot the skin in a croc style, really great in awesome level of detail :thumbsup:. Perhaps some more bigger spikes over the shoulders, with different heights on both shoulders. I like the spear in the B&W image, with the blades in different directions, that can help to breake a bit the symmetry in the painting. Maybe you can put the god standing over a rock , extending the canvas in the bottom, and add a big claws on the feet to grab the rock. Only a bunch of silly ideas :)

Change the topic title to God of Offense? Although argueably, that IS the best defense.
