hi! I am currently running on a system with single processor Pentium 4 2.4 G, 1 G RAM, 260 HD space, ATI Fire GL E1 graphic card. I am doing my 3D work with Lightwave and 3D Max. The system i mentioned above is supposedly enough to run lightwave or 3dsmax, yes? but it went reallyx2 slow... to the extend that it hangs (esp Lightwave) :thumbsdow . Do you guys think that there's a compatibility problem with the software and the system?? :lightbulb
i am thinking of switching the graphic card to NVidia Quadro FX 1000. do you this is a better card and the problems above are solved? my friend is on a p4 2.5, 1 G RAM, and Quadro FX 500 and it seems so far stable.
