View Full Version : How does "Bake to Control Rig" in HumanIK work?!

I got fully rigged character all set up with IK handles and control curves for all needed body movements etc. But, to use HumanIK for some reason I have to delete all the controls, all of them, even the Wrist Controls to get HumanIK to correctly generate Rig on my Target skeleton. Which makes later editing of mocap data almost impossible - deleting one or more channels on hip bone coses the hole skeleton to sway in a weird way etc.

So I noticed this little feature in HIK's menu - "Bake to Control Rig" which I hoped was the end of all problems for me but it seems that it bakes animation to it's own control rig which is quite useless.. Any kind of help would be much appreciated.
