Due to time restrictions, I've had to withdraw from the contest.

Reference/moodboard. Going for something Baron Samedi/Childcatcher-ish.

Some different poses and idea tests. I'm going for gaunt and creepy. There were more of them, but they were scrapped pretty much immediately. The middle one is probably a dead end as well.

I like the middle ref you have with the face glowing under the hood. Maybe you could incorporate something like that into yours. Maybe a slight glow from under the top hat or the Gods eyes glowing and reflecting onto the bottom of the top hat.

Thanks Adam. There will be glow somewhere. I'll try to figure out something clever.
Here's my latest sketch.

I've just moved to a new apartment, so there hasn't been much time to work on this.
Since my schedule says high poly, that's what I'm doing at the moment.
This is at...two-three hours I think.

Mh could be interesting, I actually like the character but as usual he is not "godlike" enough.
But that's a common problem and I'm never sure how to fix that, although I would recommend sketching out some more detail first (in your 3d app or in the concepts).
Maybe you could make him a bit less human or add some elements that a human beeing couldn't have.

Thanks for commenting Zykras.
Many "real" gods aren't very godlike either ;)
Most of the "unhuman" features I have planned can't be seen in the silhoutte, but they're there. I never had time to draw a complete concept image, but I've got it roughly figured out.
For example; lets just say that none of his eyes are located in his head. ;)
There will also be some messing around with his physique. I'm sort of making it up as I go along, so any suggestions would be welcome.
