just a thought.. maybe we are the aliens. Another point of view, that I was hinking is the the character is looking at something that he couldn't describe, therefore giving the opportunity to the spectator to come up with his own ideal, inspiring and inexplicable alien setting!. Just an idea!.

Its an ineresting take on the concepts, and a good drawing.

Perhaps the head could closer up and we could see the alien world as a reflection in his face shield?

thanks!,...I thought about that!, I was thingking that it could be some light formation but nothing more because I want the spectator to think to make up his/her world in their own mind... I think that the suggestion of an alien setting is more powerfull than seeing the setting itself.

thanks!, I just wanted to try something different... everybody has their mind set on doing a world that they have never seen before but I think that more important than the setting is the message that you want to give with the image. I don't know if it sticks to the brief but I just think that its a point that shouldn't be overlooked. That's probably why I did that!.. and it is most likely I wont win anything but I enjoyed making the image.:beer:

Very nice concept, it's a great camera angle. You should add more "alien" aspects to the picture.

I decided to go back to the drawing board and put more alien elements... it is a jelly like live form but it grows in the craters of planets and it has 4 tentacles that consume everything around them!

I like that... if you were to continue the idea in a WIP somewhere else though I would make his eyes really wide open, so he is hugly suprised.

I was thinking about combining the two but I've seen some other posts and they said that there shouldn't be any characters like the one I have on my first concept. I am just going to stick to my second one and try to fit it in a crater that looks MORE like a crater.
