I modelled a character and fully rigged it and am now at the binding stage (in maya)
however i modeled the character with the elbows pointing downwards, therefore to achieve a natural position my character needs to rotate it's shoulders almost 90 degrees which causes quite a serious fault in the mesh no matter how great the skinning is,
is there a way i can fix this easily? i noticed that if i rotate from the elbow 90 degrees it would be fine, so is there a way to rotate my rig keeping the values at zero, including joints, controllers etc..?
i doubt it, but this is will take very long to fix if not
thanks
