working on the best finger rigs. I would like great volume compensation and easy motion editing of the finger (edit just a curves..not every bone) doing everyday things. Pointing, Fist, etc all begs the use of Motion Blender but those poses need to be really great looking.

I'd recommend adding a bit more geometry around the joints to help maintain the finger's shape. It looks like you're trying to get away with too little.

i really like how you did your creases in the finger model.. small wrinkle "bevels"...very nice indeed. Thank you very much...geco.
