View Full Version : No UVs in CrossWalk? (with texture applied)

I'm exporting FBX for Unity.

The fbx exporter through crosswalk shows a list of features that are being exported. Under 'Textures', it says 'yes', but a note says 'Partial' only, reading that the texture mapping will not be exported. And sure enough, my objects in Unity are all black.

: say that crosswalk will only export UVs if a texture image is applied, but my texture is already applied.

How can I check my version of Crosswalk? I assume it's 4.0.
Is anybody successfully exporting to FBX?
What are you doing that I'm not doing?

Since I'm running Softimage 2010, it's likely that I was running crosswalk 5 something. After retrograding to 4.1, I still had the problem and I've given up.

Through trial and error, I found that I can keep my texture mapping however if I export to COLLADA (.dae) through the crosswalk export to Maya option.

Solved... I guess.
