(http://www.lbrush.com)Joe Alter Inc [known for "Shave and a Haircut"] has posted a free beta of their "LipService" plugin for Maya 2008-2011 on all platforms as well as some feature videos. In development for several years, the plugin aims to extend the idea of multi-res modeling found in ZBrush and Mudbox from a modeling tool to a fully integrated animation tool inside Maya. The tool provides a Mudbox caliber sculpting tool, body rigging features like Pose Space Deformation and Corrective Sculpt, as well as multi-layered facial animation seamlessly integrated inside the Maya interface.
