This was too important not to share asap. If you don't care about any pressure sensitive features (weightpainting/fx-tree) just disable the tablet support inside softimage! Stops any delays and problems halting playback. Woohoo! Thanks Luc-Eric!

Thanks for sharing this info. I have never noticed a playback problem with a tablet, but I will file this away for that day that it might pop up.

F*#k Yeah!
This issue has pissed me off for years. It's the first thing I check for each release.

I'm currently locked out of Softimage 2012, but when I get back I'm gonna turn that shiz OFF!! I liked pressure sensitivity but I'd choose playback control over that.
