CGTalk - Current nodes position in current hypershade view ?

View Full Version : Current nodes position in current hypershade view ?

Hi,

I'm wondering where are stored the current nodes positions of the hypershade current view ?

I found out there is a hyperLayout node created when I create a bookmark, which has a hyperPosition array attribute containing hyperPosition[x].positionX and positionY, but I don't know how to access nodes position for the current work area.

I'd like to create a custom duplicate function which doesn't mess up the position of new nodes.

there may be some way to query the current layout, I have no idea... but either way, can't you just create a bookmark yourself (via code) read it's values then delete it?
