View Full Version : can't delete maya default hotkeys?

Hi

I want to replace some maya default hotkeys.

For example replace space key with "l" key(that is delete space assignment from this commands) , but after restart maya still assigns space to this commands.

How to avoid this?

A really don't want anything on spacebar because i'm want to change navigation with autohotkey.

Use the forum's search function, there are many threads regarding this issue.


That said, good luck getting a workaround to work. I know none of them worked for me.

Ok thanks.

I found solution.

This is working for me:

hotkey -keyShortcut "Space" -name ("") -releaseName ("");

And i finally change maya alt to spacebar(houdini like) :)
