hi !
i hope i'm posting in the good part of the forum, if not, feel free to move my thread of course, and please accept my apologies =)
Anyway, here is my problem !
I'm using Maya, and i'm trying to do a kind of aura behind a character, using a reflexion of a light on a screen.. let me show you, it'll be more speaking

So i'd like to do a reeeeally realistic halo of light on the (swiched off) screen, but i don't know how to do this.. I'm using a spotlight with a strong penumbra angle, and a simple blinn as a shader of my screen (without any reflexion). I've tried to link a noise texture as bump with a high frequency to imitate the resolution of the screen, but it just looks like a deficient aliasing...
Actually, i'd like to get a result wich will be a mix beetween this picture (http://static.pcinpact.com/images/bd/news/53307-ces-2007-ecran-lcd-westinghouse.jpg) (too "smooth") and this one (http://www.pop-plv.fr/images/ecran-wi-touch.jpg) (too strong).
Does anybody have an idea on how i could do this ? i'd be very helpful for me !!
Thanks =)
