CGTalk - Cutting poly's

Hello all,

I have one prob with polys. I want to cut out some rounded shape from poly plane (or any poly object). Its something like taking nurbs plane, projecting curve and triming it out.

Is there some simmilar thing that can be done with polys?

In detail, i have a door, with rounded windows. How can i draw rounded shape on poly object and cut it out?

Booleans??

Select the door first and a PolyCylinder (for the round window) second. Polygons > Booleans > Difference
