Hi,

I'm searching for a program which is alble to import for example Wavefront OBJ objects and exports them as Renderman subdivision surface objects.

you can use wings + ribbit to export an obj-file as rib.

Thanks for the tip.

I allready have dowloaded the files and tried it. But I don't get the ribbit plugin to work correct. Everytime I try to export a rib file the the export stops when it came to the object part of the rib file.
Also there is an error message in the command window.

I use wings 3d 0.98.17 and the latest ribbit files (0.98.08b) I found.

Any ideas what I do wrong?

i don't think that ribbit works with the newest wings-release. you should try an older wings-release. i still use 0.98.08d and there it works.
