HI!!, I like the final result...but...maybe....some intense area shadows, and a little of DOF on the back of its tail, would improve a bit the tridimensional aspect of the image. I would like more contrast between the scorpion and its highlights and the background.

But it's only an opinion, you don't need to make anything, only question of taste...

I agree with you DDS, some DOF is on order and I haven't finished texturing the models or doing the final composition yet.
The idea is to make a subtle mood anyhow, balancing some high contrast with dark faded portions in the image.
