Very nice stuff. What did you use as an armature. I have been using framing wire with oil base clay. The clay seems to be too heavy for the wire.
Got any suggestions?

I went out and bought some stryofoam(sp) balls of various sizes. I then screwed down the wire first and formed a path with it for the worm creature (assuming you are refering to that sculpture) and then drove the balls throught the wire. Once i kinda got a good idea of the pose with the balss in place i got some duct tape and illustration board and filled in the gaps between the balls, this also would proove usefull in forming the creature's spine too. I then took a rolling pin and a LOT of clay and rolled it to about 1/3'' thick, started to wrap it around the balls. It took 3-5 different flattened pieces of clay to fully wrap it (some of the areas underneath it arent fully covered). The head had and tail end had the most clay, because i didnt have an armature under that part, this helps in keeping it conter-blanced. Phew, hopefully some day i will put a tutorial up on how to do, with pics included:)
Hope this cnaswer some questions:)
