I have to admit that the title of the post turned me off..not sure why, but I am glad that I took a peak. I love the colors and the painterly style.
Hey! Nice colors and great characters. But I think you shold add
more detail in the tail and the right arm of the dragon. Looks unfinished to me. And where is the guy standing? Is there a cliff
or something he can stand on?

I scan in Photoshop at 300DPI.
Save as PSD Files and move it to painter 7.
Then I make an under color layer, and color under the line art.
Then once thats done I make an overcolor layer and color over the line art with the paint brush tool in painter 7.
I add touch ups and fix little things in photoshop: )
