Not bad for a try, what software did you use ?

The wet marble should be darker than the dry marble. If possible you should add a specular map channel to break up the plastic look. speaking of which, im not so sure fountains like that are that shiny. If your software supports it i would animate the particles a bit and add some motion blur so the water doesnt look so static

hmmm, cute and simple. I like it. Your textures aren't realistic, but through that, they have this really cute look. It's on to you now, realistic, or plastic? I think you could go nicely with both, just chose one.

Thanks for the comments!
I used Lightwave for this.
Going to take those advice and see what I can do.

I think that the water that is running off at the four sides has too much speed to it, i think it should be a steady stream that slowly slips off the side...otherwise good!:buttrock:

excellent remark igor popovic!!! very nice!! There is no pressure at the surface of the water, and that's where the water runs off, so 0 pressure (sideways pressure)=0 speed. The water would almost look like it's running off a faucet.
