wow thats great work.
couple of things:
on the high res version ,the broken roof right in front looks a bit too soft texture wise,maybe a bit mroe roughness or graininess.
the red brick ceiling on the left side of the picture tends to stand out a bit too much ,maybe a bit darker.
but its just nit-picking, just my opinion.
all in all it looks totally awesome.:drool: :buttrock:

The walls textures are great.. it shows that you spent some time on them...

My only crit would be on the trash can and the little white sphere thingy on top of the red brick wall in the left portion of the picture.

They both look too clean and "fake"... well at least more than the rest of the picture....

But it's an impressive work !!!!

great work man, as always, you're one of the best texturers...

but I think that the sky would look better without the filter you applied to it (If you applied it, at least I think so), or a lower level of this filter.

damn good as usual...but something about it is JUST a bit too....smooth I guess.

Also the Depth of Field is making it look like a miniature.

That and the lack of some sort of atmosphere....it's really evident on the high res version.

Very good lighting and texturing! But I agree with the coment about it look a miniature, I think is the sky wich is too blue and low detailed, but that is just me. Congratulations!:applause:

Jajajajaja..... Estaba casi seguro que era de un pueblo manchego. Mi familia es de la mancha, y concretamente ese entorno es muy parecido a una pequeña plaza del pueblo de mi madre (Abenójar, Ciudad Real). También la luz.... ;)

I can see the amount of time it took to get the textures to look right. I can only imagine how images like these will soon be able to be done in realtime with full clarity as in the high resolution image for gaming one day..

Great stuff.

A few spots tho.
The white building on the left looks really great, cuz of the photos and mapping, but the wall in the middle has some blurry bump issues, and got a seem right down the middle. Middle building looks abit flat too. And the background buildongs looks like miniatures, as others also pointed out. The brick wall (?) on the far right side, on the sidewalk, looks misplaced. The objects you added (trashcan etc.) , and textured without photos, looks too clean and bright.

But this is a great effort non the less :thumbsup:

hey siquier,

first off, just like to say this piece has some nice modeling and textures, but theres some a thing or 2 i'd like to point out, that are bothering me:

the grate/bars on the window closest to the left (white), and the railing above it (dark/black), seem to be 'too' clean and untouched to have been there for any length of time, and having a father who works with steel/metal exclusively on a day to day basis, even factory stuff doesnt seem that clean ;-), farther window down the road, doesnt look as bad, but then its not as close either so the amount of detail would obviously be less.
the night light/lamps are the same too. as well as the garbage bin, maybe living in a rich high class neighbourhood no trash is spilled but in the ghetto i havent seen something that clean since my friends n i debated stealing a garbage bin from walmart

i guess just to sum it up, some texturing to those areas would greatly increase the realism i'd think.

otherwise great piece

PS. in the distance the buildings look miniture & plasticy to me a bit.

but.. I think this one isn't quite as good as some of your past images.

The texture on the ground looks a bit stretched...

Maybe a little bumb map will do the trick...

Very nice indeed....but:

The wire's are FAR too thick, they are rarely THAT visible and
not that dark either due to tear & wear and bird-droppings
& such.

I know this because I used to be a technichan and can tell
you...wires are not that thick in real life ;)

Anyhow, incredible textures (*bows in respect*)

Actuallly now SketchPad pointed it out, something else about the wires/cables... On the building right in the middle of the pic, the top right of the door has a cable hanging down to a box. I dont know what it is, maybe too strongly lit?, But the cable looks more like a stain - like a cable used to be there.

If thats the effect your going for its good but the cable hanging down still looks weird. Also, the right hand side of the wall on that building doesnt continue the cable around it?

Great work ans awsome texture job. My only one crit would be the house in the background on the right side. The DOF blur makes it's roof look a bit plastic. Thats the only thing that stand out, besides that is all gravy baby :)

Thanks to everybody, hmmmm... a lot of errors... :blush: I will keep in mind all your comments for my next scene.
I agree with some of them but not with all, the garbage container and some more elements I prefer them new and clean as counterpoint to the walls, I don't seek that my render gives ruin look, in the towns people take care and paints his houses.

Yes, the sun is an area light, check it with some good sunglasses. :cool:

Could you be more explicit?, I like this composition. :shrug:

I really like the lighting in this piece. Wonderful textures. Maybe you should add some irregularity to the ground - I think it looks very flat the way it is right now.

Only crit i could offer would be to add detail to the ground object. Even if you were going for that to be out of focus, it still lacks definition.

I like the general aspect of the picture, overall the building of the left... but I´m not sure about the grey wall of the right, looks a bit strange to me...
